I was thinking about my dad today who passed almost three years ago. He, along with his father and oldest son were named George Washington Sheffield in the tradition of slave naming. In the future, we might have a Barack Obama Sheffield or Smith or Jones... . About time, heh?

Yes, it is about time. I introduced Finn to the TV version of Obama this morning & told him that would be his president until he is 9 years old. Amazing.
By the way, I can't believe it has been 3 years. Your dad would be so happy to see this day. I hope he can pull some strings from wherever he is.

Barack (or Baracka) would be a nice name for your first child - some day.
very nice, Sis... i was actually thinking about naming my first son John Jr., Junior after our nephew. But Barack is good, too.
