I should note that we didn't do it as far as Prop 8 goes.
This morning, I spoke to my non-voting neighbor. He told me he never votes but was glad about Prop 8. I asked, "really?" in disbelief. He said that he doesn't want teachers telling kids that "gay is the same as straight. It's not." Kids shouldn't be taught [about oral sex between men -- I don't write porn so I can't use his words]." Sad but enlightening as to the "thinking" behind all the YES votes on 8.
A wonderful historical moment! I am so happy! Omar Obama! Now we all get Puppies!!!
Unbelievable about Prop 8. You showed great restraint by not cussing out your neighbor.
