Organics

I'm not sure if it does any good for me, but I try to buy organic if I can or think it's worth it. There are two good links to consider in the decision making process.

One -- A list foods and pesticide loads.

Two -- Recent LA Times article about the recent study showing no difference in nutrition.

I think for me, taste has more to do with it than nutrition. Tomatoes and strawberries are great examples. Though organic foods are luxury items to me, I try to make sure to get organic food for Sean. I think with these studies about chemicals, they usually don't know about the long term effects of them yet whereas I trust thousands of years of agriculture that did not involve these chemicals. It might be psychological but with kids and their brain development at this age, you don't want to chance it.
