Last weekend we took Pac'a to Half Moon Bay. What a lovely outing.

I had some ladies over for knitting the other night. Eli's sister, Indra, is working on another post-structural piece.

I'm pretty stuffy, as you can see. A good friend is turning 30, and this scarf will be hers. She doesn't read sheff's special so she'll be surprised when she unwraps it.

She doesn't read Sheff's special? Then how does she get her regular fill of sci -fi, political and dance show related news??

What a beautiful scarf, Kat. I love your short entries. Every picture tells a story...

lovely pics. i bet if paca had a long-term memory, she would consider that day in half-moon bay the best one yet.

you don't write about me either and i never got a scarf for my 30th birthday (you just got trashed and fought with your boyfriend all night).

any way, i don't ask for much, you know. and unlike Sacha, i'm family. i think i deserve these things.

just joking, Sacha. you know you're like the big sister i never had.

Ed, I didn't fight with my boyfriend on your 30th. I fell asleep after eating curiously green cupcakes, and the boyfriend got mad and thought I was a drug addict. Remember? Now I have the perfect boyfriend, and we always get along and think of nice things to do for you.

that's right, my bad. except you didn't fall asleep, you fell OFF the couch.

and now you have a perfect boyfriend. he's the greatest ever. he'd never think you were a drug addict and he'd only get mad at you if you weren't sharing.

it's true. but kathy would never fail to share, so that's not a problem. but i'm still miffed about your 30th brithday too. it also happened to be valentine's day, and, as i was in town visiting usc, i thought that would be the perfect time to win kathy's heart. but noooo - she had to go to her brother's birthday party and pass out on the couch and fight with her square-ass boyfriend (who, incidentally, left her with a very lovely salad bowl). anyway, i had to wait another 6 months for my next opportunity.

I can't believe the two of you are so cool sharing my personal business!

you know, Eli, i remember that later encounter you had with Sister Sheff, too. remember how she first started off trying to mack on one of her friends, then after getting jealous because she thought my friend was snaking-in on her territory, she instead found true love in you. that's my favorite story ever and i take full responsibility.

i see it like this, if i hadn't taken my friend up to Seattle for Xui's (Chuy) Halloween party and gave Kate someone to hate on, the two of you never would have got together.

i also take full responsibility in Kathy's breakup with the previous guy. if i hadn't been sharing, Kate never would have revealed her taste for the psychotropics in front of that square-assed ex-boyfriend. now she can continue to trip when ever she wants, at parties, at work, or when ever. boy, Kate does loves them drugs. that’s not too personal, is it?

you got your chronic-ology mixed up, ed. that party was our previous encounter. and from what she tells me, she wasn't really jealous about your c***blocking friend, she just didn't like her. but maybe she just didn't want me to know that she was only paying attention to me in order to make her square-ass date jealous. anyway, i think she realized pretty quickly that i was way more into drugs than him (after all, he was dressed as a catholic school girl, and i was dressed as the devil), and now we have true love and can do as many drugs as we want all the time.
