Quick Guide to California's Upcoming Special Election
Thanks to our action figure governor, we get to have a special election next month. Here's a quick guide to the propositions.
NO on:
73 -- constitutional amendment that redefines abortion and imposes a waiting period and parental notification for (female) teens seeking abortions.
74 -- new requirements for teacher job security.
75 -- silences public employee unions.
76 -- gives the governator way too much power in the budget.
77 -- would allow Republicans a new crack at redistricting.
78 -- it's a fake drug buying program backed by the pharmaceutical companies who are running tons of ads to oppose 79.
Yes on:
79 -- yes, California needs a prescription drug plan for low income people.
80 -- restoration of regulating energy in California. It's about time!
Don't take my word for this, check this out!
