Star Wars Puppetry for the Home

This is a fun project. My roommate, Martina, came up with the idea of the puppet, and Elias and I came up with role playing game.

Supplies:

Darth Vader 7-11 Slurpee Cup Top
Wine bottle
Black Felt (9'' X 6'')
Safety Pin
Flex Grip Ultra red pen (we used medium, but fine point will do)

Start with the Top:

Get your bottle ready.

Have your crafty roommate wrap a piece of black felt around the bottle/body for a cape and fasten the cape with a pin. (If you don't have a crafty roommate, you can try this on your own.)

Voila! Let's get busy!

Using the action packed red pen for a light saber ...

you'll do serious damage to Mace Wine Du and Obi-Wine Cabernobi.

May the Force be with you.

i love that you guys made star wars puppets and that you weren't afraid to tell the world about it. I mean it.

But, I also have an apple tech support ? for ssf - itunes often won't open - what's up?

sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn't...i've tried opening it from the set of icons at the bottom of the screen, and from applications...but, it only opens when it wants to...

i don't think Sheff's Speical should be used for on-line Tech Support.

ed makes an excellent point. where is ed anyway? shouldn't he be heading down south, so we can go see the real thing tomorrow (even though york already gave away the ending - thanks a lot, york!)? if the movie is anywhere near as exciting as our puppet show last night, then we're in for a real treat (for a minute, i thought obi wine cabernobi might prevail).

as for itunes...make sure you have the latest version installed. go to system preferences, and do software update. Are you using OSX? Try that. If not, you can try to delete the version of itunes you have and then reinstall it from apple.com

But def. see if you have the latest version installed.

IF you do delete your itunes and start fresh, make sure to do a search and delete everything that has to do with itunes.
let me know if that works.

i'm still in awe, rendered speechless... i've been dreaming of the day when someone would make Star Wars Puppetry accessible to the masses and that day has arrived.

move over martha! there's a serious tremor in the craft-making force.

(and so at a time like this, how can anyone in their right mind be talking about IPODS????)
