We're in NBA playoffs in the Sheffienger home, and I can't tell you how many series have gone to game 7! Now Elias is boning up for the World Cup so we'll be watching games and Sports Center every day through Labor Day.
But all is well in my world. Tomorrow, So You Think You Can Dance is coming back!

Does Elias check his email anymore or have the sports on TV become the his only link with the outside world?
K - I fear you and Elias are turning into an old cliche (accent mark over e.) The avid sports watching boyfriend, the pretends- to-be-interested girlfriend.
Is this what "married-life" has done to you?
Don't you miss our "dance-offs!" The girls had one the other day - but not the same without Elias and York.
I was getting a little concerned about that cliche myself, superm, so I went to check up on them this weekend w/my bro and all seems well.
We took the basketball to the streets where Elias led the "grown-up" team in glowering over children half his size in a game of three on three (or six on three taking size into consideration). Eventually adult kindness (or oldness) prevailed and the small ones won the day with a half court (court was like 10 sq. ft) shot.
All in all it was a good, clean, drug-free use of Oakland's parks and rec, we even left the plastic cups at home and didn't cuss in front of the kids!
grown-ups represent!!
