that comment makes a fine post. just my opinion.
I have to say it was a pretty entertaining show with everyone taking a stab at humor.
I also have to say that I'm a little disappointed in K's and Xiu's glossover America Ferrera's and Ugly Betty's win. Have the 5 or 6 famous Latinas in Holllywood become such a main stay that it's not a huge deal when Latinos win! I know it's only a T.V. show but let's face it Latino winners in Hollywood? I think not - besides America was adorable on stage and spoke well! I am so proud of her and Salma and the other Latinos that work on Ugly Betty.
Okay there's my people plug for the month!
I liked Babel - but are all white folk in th U.S. going to think that their Nanny's are going to take their kids to Tijuana to watch a chicken run around with its head cut off and drive back with a crazy person only to get left in the desert to die? Mind you if this crazy person is Gael - not so bad!

DDS, you're right. I didn't know what I was committing to when I first started commenting on Xui's blog. That's why I'm crediting myself with a post here and a link there. I'm cheap and supposed to be at work right now!
Mosca, I can't believe you glossed over my review. I wrote a bit about America Ferrera. Of course I was excited about her win even though I don't watch the show because it conflicts with The Office. I'll catch up with it on Netflix some day. FYI, I wrote about all kinds of winners from all kinds of backgrounds. On the whole, there was an unusual amount of racial and ethnic diversity in that show.
Colleen, that's rad. Literally.
I didn't gloss K, just wanted to plug my peeps, and to prove it I offer this:
I think Vanessa's hair looked like crap (you disagree) along with all those other boy toys who looked like they just got out of bed (you agree).
Why do you have to dis my hair type Ro/Mo? I don't dis yours. At least not to your face.
I've never seen you wear your hair like that!
