Psyched!
I love love love Neil Gaiman, so I'm looking forward to Stardust, the movie based on his novel. I'm a little confused by the previews since they don't connect to the story I remember (but I read it long ago when I was in law school, and I can't remember torts or con law either). No matter. I'll love it.

Yea he was at comic con and they had a whole deal about Beowulf, but I don't think I made it to that panel
H17, good to see your comic con posts and photos! Others should check them out as well, as you are now better informed than all of us about some great books, movies, and shows.
Oh my god!! I step away from Sheff's Special for like, 2 minutes and we've gone from paradise vacations and nice, domestic musings about dogs and fruit to, to....well, I'm just afraid this is going to become a role-playing thing or something.
(I'm personally skipping the HP stuff and going straight for Pullman's Golden Compass - to me it has much more substance even though I agree that the 3rd book was a little heavy-handed. I've never been into Neil Gaiman and can't weigh in on that. As for comic con - god bless. I'll pretend to roll my eyes to hide my jealousy)
