Whedon always likes to recycle his actors/actresses. The guy who played Caleb on Buffy and I think was in Serenity is Hammer. I had forgotten Felicia Day was on Buffy season 7. Doug Petrie and Drew Goddard, Buffy alumni also make an appearance. This wasn't bad, but I think Buffy season 8 is better than this.
He just has his muses, I guess....
