The Final Stretch

Bush's reign of error ends in 2 days. Woo-hoo. I'm thinking about changes and adjustments. I'll have to change the banner on this site.

My favorite Bushism that still cracks me up every time I read it or think of it: "Too many good docs are getting out of the business. Too many OB/GYNs aren't able to practice their love with women across the nation."

There's more.

I totally love the Bushisms! I've had this article up on my computer all week - I return to it every so often since soon and very soon THERE WON'T BE any Bushisms anymore!!!!! Soon we'll actually have a real president - as Barney Frank noted: Barack Obama's continued insistence that we have one President at a time "overstates the number of Presidents we have."

its great that Bush is leaving but aren't you being a bit idealistic about Obama? In the end, he's just another politician. They are all crooked in one way or another, or else they would be in another profession. I was in Inglewood this weekend covering an MLK event. People walk around like he's going to fix all the problems. Is the inaguration historic? Absolutely. Does he offer some hope? I believe to some yes, well I hate to be skeptical or jaded but people are walking around like it's the second coming. Let's see if he can fix the messes the Republicans got us into first.

The only things that Ariel never poo-poohs about are football and his beloved comic books. I know we have freedom of speech, but dude, if you have nothing nice to say....

Rafi, we know we aren't being too idealistic. That's Ariel's perception. So what if we're really excited about Obama and what we see of ourselves in him? You and I are glad for this time.

Don't misunderstand me,
I am not anti Obama. I am just distrustful and skeptical abot all politicians, I am a reporter, it's in my nature. And I don't believe I said anything unnice, I am just expressing my opinion. That's part of the purpose of blogs.

Well I'm a lawyer. And a consumer. And a dog lover. And I'm smart enough to be as skeptical as the next guy or gal.
