OMG DST!
Don't forget to set your clocks back already! It's November, but I hardly feel like winter is coming. We ate lunch outside today, and it was so hot, I wore a tank top!

it most certainly does NOT feel like winter. I made salsa yesterday and went running in a tank top by the ocean. worth the quakes and fires and traffic methinks...

ya know, i had to laugh at that don't forget to set your clocks back advice. it reminded me of all those warnings to the kids on halloween. i love dst, but it's great to have an extra hour today.
FYI: Robert Ripley of Ripley's believe it or not was from Santa Rosa. Tom Waits lives there.
Maybe other folks can chime in some more about Santa Rosa, since you're scoping it out. The squashes in this post were arranged for a patio setting at Frick (not Frack!) Winery just north of Santa Rosa.
