Catching Up on TV Too

Please accept my apologies for mentioning that crazy guy (who needs to be on meds!!) so much. I just can't believe how much he's covered in the media, and I'm contributing to it by expressing my amazement. Donovan was on to something with the bodywork he suggested a while back in my comments.

I like the celebrity dance show. I cringe a little tiny bit when dancers aren't perfect in their posture or they look scared. I don't care if they miss steps since none of it compares to when Evander Holyfield was still on the show. John O'Hurley is hilarious and his partner is a trippy lady who looks like a kissblowing barbie doll. She reminds me of a character in the second season of Twin Peaks -- the freaky domestic violence victim turned pedophile. Nevertheless, she totally rules in dancing.

While watching the show, I saw an M&M ad that featured a Postal Service song sung by Iron and Wine. Weird.

I'm thinking about switching to reading and yoga classes to fill my evenings.

I like that show too.

John O'Hurley is class, he'll win. The lady from General Hospital makes me uncomfortable. She's rather pornographic where sexy is the call. Rachel Hunter's legs were a sight to behold. Evander was spirited, but I worried that he might snap and punch someone. It would be hard to dance with feet that big!

I loved to hate the super cheesy blonde ponytail guy that had all the wrong moves. He had the cheesy fake grin and the cheesy real confidence that made me want to hurl. He seemed like a perv. He reminded me of the little guy on the Gazelle infomercial. my friend Clitty bought a Gazelle!

Oh, and I was all smiley when they played a song from Dirty Dancing...like I wote it or get paid for it or something. Der.

K- Dancing with the Stars is the only show I watch on TV, it's great. I thought Rachel Hunter exited too soon, Joey Lawrence should have gone before her. Not only does she have amazing legs, she has amazing everything. But my favorite is John Hurly...I suspect he's everyone's favorite. He's so funny. I've grown to like the actress from General Hospital, despite her conflation of porny and sexy. She's much improved since the first shows. And her partner is a little sleazy...so they make a really good couple. It's actually a great showdown: Pure John Hurly against porny Kelly Monaco. Although I haven't voted yet, I am going to vote for Monaco b/c their paso doble routine was hot, hot, hot!

I found out that the song on the M&M commercial was Such Great Heights, it appeared on the extended vinyl edition of The Postal Service album and then the Garden State soundtrack. Why, oh why, is it on an M&M commercial??????????????????

I'm down with that, but not sure my lack of $7-9 contribution will make that big of a dent on the weekend box office totals. If the Huffington Post blog audience is big enough, I think that might put Cruise over the top. I mean what else are people going to watch "Rebound"?

wow... you all got too much time on your hands, 'cept Cloudy. i like the boycott idea. i'd boycott the movie altogether if i wasn't such an H.G. Wells fan (*A Short History of the World, a must-read for any historian).

I am rooting for John O'Hurley, though I think Evander and Rachel were voted out too soon. I find Kelly Monaco "porny" as well, but find myself turned on by her partner, Alec Mazo. So...Go Alec!!!
BTW, you can come to my friend's dance class every Saturday if you want. Dancing is just as rewarding as yoga.

Damn, I guess our boycott didn't have much of an impact. The Steven Spielberg film "War of the Worlds" earned $77.6 million, according to early estimates, to debut at #1. The film also scored the second-best four-day opening over a July 4 weekend since 2004's "Spider-Man 2" which earned $115.8 million, according to The Associated Press.

Methinks Kathy bought a ticket.

I didn't I didn't. Not because of the boycott. I had better things to do, and Elias insisted we take our one alloted movie outing to see Land of the Dead. We're all zombies, man.

I saw the finale last night (of Dancing with the Stars) and it was quite entertaining! I wish I had watched the whole mini-season.
