Happy Groundhog's Day
The groundhog saw its shadow. That means six more weeks of winter. I just want the rain to stop -- here in my new Bay Area location and in the Northwest where I plan to visit soon. What can the groundhog do about that?

According to the NY Times, there is discord between the two main groundhogs. "Punxsutawney Phil saw his shadow...however, New York's answer to Phil, Staten Island Chuck, disagreed. At 7:30 a.m., he did not see his shadow." Who are we to believe? Phil or Chuck???? This is too much!
I knew there had to be more than one groundhog! And more than one outcome!
Kathy, so glad that you are settled in already. Sorry I missed your going away shinding, but it sounds like you were sorrounded with a lot of love and friends. Did you hear Joss has called Veronica Mars the best show on TV?
We're having rain in Quebec, too, and we're supposed to be having snow. Could you talk to the groundhog about that as well?
