When Elias told me that Tina Fey used Sarah Palin's exact words, I didn't believe him. I stand corrected.

Long Time No Blog

I've been busy with work (representing grievants and panicking over the delayed California budget) and keeping up with the 24 hour media cycle on the upcoming elections. It all cuts into the time I usually like to spend telling people what I think and what I'm up to.

I can hardly wait until the McCain bounce is over. A member of the union I work for directed my attention to this blog posting written by Tim Wise (a favorite guest speaker of my alma mater, The Evergreen State College).

It's cooled down in Oakland, and once the flurry of fall passes, I hope to start baking, bottling fruit wine I made over the summer, and eating stewed meat with squash.
