I Just Realized Something

Elias and I have been watching Freaks and Geeks thanks to Netflix. It occurred to me that I never once kissed or made out on my high school campus. Is that weird?

Update: OK, maybe one time at a prom with someone who wasn't my date. But he wasn't in high school.

New Camera

We got a new camera, and I'm learning how to use it. It's kind of complicated.


If you know Pac'a, you know this face is a joke. Nevertheless, we see it all the time now that we have Omar. This look tells him to back off, and he never does.

I baked a peach and blackberry pie that was pretty good. For once, I liked my crust work using Martha's recipe.

Ethics

Is it stealing to take (or borrow without returning) magazines from waiting rooms and lounges? I'm not admitting anything, but I'm tempted to take magazines I'd never buy like Prevention and Good Housekeeping.

My mom does an opposite kind of thing. She deposits old issues of The Nation in waiting rooms and lounges frequented by old white people she thinks need reeducating.

Bad Bosses

Now's the time to enter the worst boss ever contest. I think the workers whose boss murdered them rather than grant their requested pay raises will win. They just won't be around to collect the prize.

I'd like to see some people I know enter. Me, my current boss is ok so no complaints. But a long time ago, I watched my boss punch his teen-aged daughter in the face. That was delightful. Afterward, he offered to give me a ride home. Yikes! I called my brother to pick me up stat.
