I discovered this new art scene going on. The Visceral Realists are a group of quasi-anarchists. They don't believe in reform or utopia; they prefer institutional rupture. They've abducted curators and taken over major art institution board meetings.

Leaving Seattle. Isn't the ship ginormous?



Elias looking out at birds or whales or something. We saw humpbacks, porpoises, orcas, and more bald eagles than I've ever seen before.



While at sea, we chilled out a lot in lounges on the boat.



Here's a shot of the ship anchored outside Sitka. When we came to Sitka, we took smaller boats to the shore.

Elias's Sole Fest

We're back from the Alaska cruise. It was awesome, and I'll post photos soon enough. For now, check out Elias's triumph! A few days before we sailed, Elias went out with his dad in Birch Bay and caught three sole type fish.
