It's Time
Once again, there's a new cycle of America's Next Top Model. I'm not really interested in watching it and probably won't. I will, however, check out the Four Four recap every week. I love it for its clips of crying models (confirming to me once again how messed up this world is) and Tyraisms.

Kayaking
This is my new favorite thing. We could do it every day (that I don't have to work long hours and/or travel out of town like I have been). This little waterway is just a few miles from our home.

Tuning In
I'm so out of it, I didn't know that Tony Snow stepped down until I saw it on The Colbert Report. (That's right, we still have cable. When is Elias going to get rid of it?)
Another instance of oblivion occurred yesterday when it took a traffic jam on I-880 near the Coliseum for me to realize that it's Football Season! Since yesterday was the US Open Men's Finals, there was no football in our home. Later, Anna called to ask me to report on the Raiderettes. I was in bed when she called and almost asleep. I don't know if she wants to be one or just wants the boots. I can only find a place to order the panties.

Two different takes on why we need to show some empathy for Senator Craig. Maybe you're a gay who just can't be gay due to your religion, politics, and spousal ties. Or maybe you just act gay but are not really gay, but you keep giving off gay signals... . (... or maybe this whole thing is a silly waste of time and resources.)
Once again, someone I know died from heart disease. Decrease your risk. Find out what it is to begin with. Who knows if it's really accurate, but it's a start.
I don't watch daytime tv, but if I did, I'd watch The View.
I can't believe how long it took me to see Stardust! Finally, after it hit the Parkway, we saw it. Brother Ed's lady Beth called it her "feel good movie of the year." I agree. I was a little nervous at first because I wasn't instantly loving it. In the end, I did.
